Concert For Peace

 

On April 4th, 2022, The Peace Concert, organized by the Opera Theater Alla Scala, is going to take place at 8PM. 

The concert was organized to help raise funds for the war victims in Ukraine. 

It will be broadcasted live streaming on the theatres Facebook and YouTube channel.

Rossini's Stabat Mater returns to Scala with four of the most prestigious voices in the repertoire: Rosa Feola, Veronica Simeoni, Juan Diego Florez, and Alex Esposito, as well as this famous theatre's choir and orchestra directed by Alberto Malazzi.

I watched the live broadcast of this concert on YouTube. It was amazing! 

I loved every bit of it! Everything was perfect! The orchestra, the amazing choir from laScala Opera Theater, and the soloists, who are some of the top performers for this repertoire. 

Rossini and Verdi are my favorite opera composers, but I have to say that I've never seen or heard Stabat Mater by Rossini before and I absolutely loved it!
